Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[68Ga]Ga-HSA-ICG is a hybrid, dual-modality diagnostic imaging agent consisting of human serum albumin (HSA) nanocolloids radiolabeled with the positron emitter Gallium-68 ([68Ga]) and conjugated with the near-infrared fluorescent dye Indocyanine Green (ICG). Developed by researchers at the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Tata Memorial Centre, and Amity University, this agent is designed for sentinel lymph node imaging and mapping. By combining high-resolution PET imaging with real-time intraoperative fluorescence guidance in a single injection, [68Ga]Ga-HSA-ICG aims to improve the accuracy of sentinel lymph node detection and surgical resection.
